Corporate Media is getting a taste of its incompetence, lassitude, and incongruence

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated an anti-free press activist to head the Federal Communications Commission. Yeah, it's so bad that The New Republic, with its fealty to neoliberalism, has laid a broadside column against the nomination.

And, they should be worried.

Trumpism has used Right-wing media to mold what the so-called “legacy media” reported and didn't report for the last 4 years.

It would have been a far more difficult political landscape for Donald Trump had Project 2025, Trump's legal problems, the actual state of the U.S. economy, and the political beliefs of MAGA politicians been reported accurately. Unfortunately…we are where we are owing largely to Corporate Media's fear of an audience that calls them “fake news”.

Corporate Media enabled Donald Trump to retake the White House by normalizing his behavior, his social media outbursts, and his dangerous political views. But, the same Media's earnestness in reporting Joe Biden's age, poor polling, and performance in a “fact-check free” debate is somehow laudable.

Corporate Media's faux shock over the extremism of Trump's MAGA movement is laughable.
