The Christian Right is what the Democrats need
From Ja’han Jones at Reidout Blog
“The conservative, Christian movement is better positioned to impose its will on American politics today than at any other time in recent memory, thanks to right-wing judges ex-President Donald Trump put on the federal bench and Supreme Court.
On everything from abortion to education, courts have sided with Christian ideology across the land. Meanwhile, the facade of Christian moral superiority continues to crumble.”1
Sex Scandals and hypocrisy aside, the biggest problem now facing the Religious Right is that its view of the purpose of government and what it ought to do is that it is not merely repulsing Christians, the Political Left, Democrats, and moderate voters, but a sizable number of self described conservatives.
Poll2 after poll3 has documented how out of sync the views of the Christian Right are and it’s political malpractice not to develop messaging to combat them.
