Had the Democratic Party paid more attention to Tom Bonier or Simon Rosenberg, there would be a better post-election story than “America stopped neo-facism”.
Don’t get me wrong, an American political system without people like Kari Lake, Ron DeSantis, Tudor Dixon, or Doug Mastriano having political power is great, but simply winning half those contests is not enough.1
A recent podcast on Meidas Touch highlighted what was a great night the Democrats had (actually it touted the theoretical win by those left of Center as a win for Democracy and Normalcy).
It’s a great watch and the Meicelas brothers (Ben, Brett, and Jordy) have an awesome channel on YouTube (I highly recommend subscribing).
However, this realist has issues with the Democrats not taking on the GOP from the get go this political season. Gas prices, supply chain issues, violence, transgender kids, and CRT all gave the GOP political traction, because the Democrats fear having to explain the issues and policies in 30 seconds or less.
The Left did not win. Democrats simply held the line by getting its voters out to the polls. The political Right lost, because the GOP gaslit themselves into thinking Democrats would not vote if they believed they were going to lose.
Except in Florida, where Election Police scared a lot of Democratic voters away. More on that in the next post.
As of the time of this posting, the results in Arizona (Lake) are not final.
Ha ha, thirty seconds or less😵💫
Please don't bring us central people into the same boat as you.
We don't think like your party or the other party. What we believe isn't the same as neither party.
You both suck and are full of angee. You both don't want normalcy, you both don't do enough for people. So when you say "actually it touted the theoretical win by those left of Center as a win for Democracy and Normalcy)."
Us people on the central don't hold the same bs beliefs as you. So don't bring us into this when we don't like your partys narrative and what you say, if we did; get this right we would be a democrat or a republican. Reason why we don't identify with either is becausw we don't believe everything your saying, we don't agree with the same narrative that you believe your so called democracy.
We want true democracy over everyone, both political parties don't. Each has an agenda and thats not what us central people are about.
We can agree with somethings each party says but not the entire thing.
So don't bring us centralists into your boat saying we want the same thing as you. We honestly don't want the same thing.
