I've been watching the serious journalistic decline of MSNBC since they introduced the "Joe & Mika Morning Sideshow" decades ago. (I long ago gave up on the "networks" once Dan Rather was fired for being a journalist when reporting on Geo. W. Bush).

Then Keith Olbermann (another journalist) was kicked to the 30 Rock kerb.

And then about 2-1/2-3 years ago Rachel Maddow's show had more moves than a ouija board, before she "negotiated" a single Monday night time slot.

And then Mehdi Hasan (another journalist) was also told this past November (2023) his show would be gone in the New Year. Why wait? He didn't. Stuck in out for awhile, then resigned.

All the while (at least on MSNBC) the numbers of retread, failed republican and conservative democratic "commentators" exponentially increased -- NOT ONE a journalist (save Eugene Robinson and, perhaps, Jen Psaki (a "Karen" in red hair if there ever was one)), while women and men of every color and sexual orientation disappeared (i.e., Cross Connection) to be replaced by what?

Nothing. Simply increase the air time of "personalities" too incompetent to give them any more name recognition than they already, unjustifiably have.

CNN, MSNBC are righteously being supplanted by YouTube and other outlets for real news. When four right-wingnutz corporations control ALL of the mainstream media, including, but not limited to, print media, we, the People, say buh-bye & good riddance. Let those corporate "honchos" watch/read the slop they purvey as "news" all by themselves.

(Thanks for allowing me to rant!)
